My Favorite: Flavor of the Moment..

Hi! It’s been a while. I missed you. How was your weekend? What did you do? I had a fabulous weekend with my family. My sister is home on Spring break so naturally we went to the beach. Southern California beaches in spring are the prettiest places around.Newport Beach with Puppy dogs- Glitter It GoldThe sunshine felt like a big, warm hug and the sun reflecting off the ocean and the sound of the waves pounding on the shore made me just want to curl up in that hug and sleep forever. The beach in spring is definitely one of my favorite things.

A lot of things are my favorites. I add new ones every day. You are my favorite too, so I am going to share my most favorite favorites here. I am always discovering new things I just love, can’t get enough of, and want to share with EV-ER-Y-ONE. Whenever I have a total crush on something and call it my favorite it will be on the Flavor of the Moment category.

My favorite things are likely to include recipes or bloggers, movies/documentaries, places or products I love, or any content I think is worthy of sharing. I also share most of these things on Pinterest or Instagram so follow me there too. Enjoy!

You know what else made sitting on the beach so incredible? My new KATE SPADE sunglasses. I am one of those people that has to try on the entire selection of sunglasses at least two times before even coming remotely close to making a decision. The poor guy helping us was very patient with me as I apologetically asked him to pull those out one more time so I can just make absolutely certain that these were the ones I wanted. Kate Spade Circes- Glitter It GoldI LOVE them. They are adorable (the BOW on the side!), and comfy- I wore them for 4 hours straight with no headache.

Andie Mitchell is the author of one of my favorite blogs Can You Stay for Dinner? an she gave an amazing Ted Talk about her struggle with weight loss. Her message is moving and her words are empowering and can be applied to anything you are currently struggling with in life. The video is 18 minutes long, but watch ALL of it. Make the time- it is 18 minutes well spent.

You know what would make this video even better? a big bowl of Jessica Merchant’s Lemon Almond Roast Chicken Salad and crispy, crunchy crackers. Or bread. Or a fork. It’s good. Lemon Almond Roast Chicken Salad with Avocado- Glitter It Gold

How Sweet Eats was the blog that made me want to blog. I fell in love with it and with Jessica and her new cookbook Seriously Delish. Seriously, so much good stuff in the links in this paragraph. You will be hearing plenty more about Jessica and her amazing creations.

What are your favorites? Please share, they might become my favorites too! (I used the word favorite 9 times so far. Ew.)
